We got a new kitten today(pic later). Will our 6 year old cat, bob, like it? Hopefully.
I think we should name it Venus de Milo, but my mom thinks naming it after a sculpture with the arms broken off is a bad omen.
What are some good names?

I always tried to follow the Norse and Roman Gods when naming my animals.
My current cat is Thor. We have had a dog named Odin, and a cat named Loki.
There was another cat that was named Aphrodite, and another named Hera.
We had to rename Aphrodie to "Stupid fucker" when she decided the start running after cars with a Garfield in the back window and decided to run after the first of 3 cars.

Awesome man, I love cats. 2 of mine have died within' the last year from old age, so I am looking to pick up a kitten here in the not too distant future.
Congrats on your ultra haul!

Congrats Oce!!! Kittens and cats RULE! As for names, I always tried to wait a few days and see if they do anything personality wise that "suggests" itself as appropriate.
My last two cats were tribble ('cause he was just a little puff of furr that made little coo/purr noises all the way home, like the ST tribbles) and monkey ('cause the freak @ss thought he was one - even ate with his feet! )
And I feel for you TCM. I lost both mine within 3 months of each other 2 years ago to old age. One was 11 the other 14. I can't bring myself to get anymore yet.

I used to have a cat named Paganini (14th century violinist)...
... but the I came up with a Mozart name for a cat that would kick ass....
Wolfgang.
If people say "is it a big dog?" You say "No. It's my brilliant Prodigy cat... Wolfgang Amadeus Catzart"
